Craftster OTT Swap - Teaser

The teaser for my part of the One Tiny Thing swap on Craftster with TheSaphireMoon. As before we don't want to give the surprise away too soon, but to build the suspense like a terrible, terrible person. Though I can't wait to see what I am going to get. This was sent out just the other day but I just haven't had the chance to blog about it, and that is really just about it.

Anyway I really find that I enjoy doing swaps. Uh... Take that?

Free Embroidery Pattern

So I have been having a pretty sh*tty go of it for a while now. I am so cross and drained.

In hoping that spring would just warm up and stop snowing already, also in the need for cheer, I have designed a sun-shower set of embroidery patterns. My favourite is the happy sun, with its rosy cheeks (not sure if that is apparent) and its wavy sunrays; followed closely by the very cute cloud. You should be taken directly to the full image by clicking on the above image, that is if I did the code correctly. The patterns are free to use for personal projects, please don't use it to sell, redistribute the pattern, or alter it and claim the design as your own. Full of Excuses

Yeah so... yeah...
Have been really pushing hard for end of the month deadlines at work, I am even working 6 day workweeks and am totally burning out. I know it is just another excuse. :/

Wow

Wow it's been a while. I was very sick for a couple weeks and while I thought that all the missed time at work would give me a chance to do a little extra crafting, as it turned out I was really unable to. On my embroideries I ended up pulling each stitch at least 3 times, every stitch of crochet that I had done has also been frogged, an ACEO (art card) that I was making for a friend smeared and warped and had to be tossed, all just beacause of the glaring errors that I had made the whole way through. I couldn't function that well, it was a flu, I had a pretty bad fever. The only thing that I ended up being able to do was to weave in ends on the afghan project that I have had ongoing for a while now.

I'm sorry for the delay, I am surprised to see that I still have people stopping by every now and then. I will do better.
